Description
WHY IS OUR CLAY DIFFERENT?
🔹 Menthol Crystals: activate cold receptors (TRPM8) in the skin, creating an immediate sensation of freshness and relief.
🔹 Silica (SiO₂): strengthens connective tissues and stimulates cellular regeneration.
🔹 Magnesium (Mg): provides calming and relaxing effects on muscles and tendons.
🔹 Calcium (Ca): promotes remineralization and supports skin balance.
🔹 Potassium (K): helps maintain hydration and muscle tone.
🔹 Iron (Fe): stimulates microcirculation and contributes to tissue oxygenation.
🔹 Zinc (Zn): has antibacterial properties and promotes skin repair.
🔹 Copper (Cu): helps reduce inflammation and supports recovery processes.
🔹 Aluminum (Al): exerts an astringent and purifying effect on the skin.
🔹 Vanadium (V): a trace element that supports cellular metabolism and tissue recovery.
🔹 Sodium (Na): contributes to osmotic balance and controlled water retention in tissues.
🔹 Titanium (TiO₂): has protective and soothing properties; reflects heat and enhances the calming effect on the skin.
"Application Method and Dosage"
When to Apply
After training or work: as a draining and relaxing treatment for tendons, ligaments, and muscles.
In case of trauma or swelling: helps reduce local inflammation and supports recovery.
For intense disciplines or activities: also recommended for extended applications to maximize remineralizing and regenerating effects.
Areas of Application
Standard: from the knee down to the fetlock/hoof.
Intensive: for heavy workloads or marked swelling, apply from above the knee down to the hoof, covering the entire muscular and ligamentous area.
Application Method
Clean the leg with water, removing mud or residues.
No disinfectants or other products are needed before application.Take the required amount of Argistrong.
Apply directly to the skin, massaging lightly against the hair so that the clay penetrates under the coat and adheres well to the skin.
Spread an even layer of about 5 mm over the entire area to be treated.
Indicative Dosage
Full application on 4 legs (from above the knee to the hoof): approx. 1.5 kg of product.
Standard application (from knee to hoof, 4 legs): approx. 1 kg of product.
The active minerals (silica, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, etc.) work synergistically to reduce swelling, drain excess fluids, and promote recovery of muscular, tendinous, and ligamentous tissues.
Menthol crystals dissolved in purified alcohol provide an immediate cooling effect, improving post-work comfort.
Correct Application Protocol
What Not to Do
Unlike traditional clay poultices, Argistrong should not be covered with paper, plastic wrap, cloths, or bandages.
Covering prevents the natural evaporation of the water contained in the clay, reducing the gradual release of minerals and limiting its draining action on tissues.
What to Do
After application (recommended thickness: 5 mm), leave the leg uncovered and at rest.
The clay must dry naturally.
During drying, it gradually releases its minerals into the deeper tissues (tendons, ligaments, muscles) while promoting fluid drainage and reducing swelling.
Drying Time
Varies depending on environmental conditions:
Humid climate: slower drying.
Warm/sunny climate: faster drying.
On average, one application may take a few hours up to overnight.
Removal
Once dry, simply remove the clay with water.
"Useful Tips for Optimal Application"
Tail Management
When applying the clay poultice to the hind legs after work or after washing, it is recommended to tie the tail up with an elastic band or braid.
This prevents the tail from touching the fresh clay. Untie it only once the clay is completely dry.
Horse Behavior
During application, the horse may be curious about the product — it might touch, sniff, or even lick it.
There is absolutely no risk: Argistrong is 100% natural and safe.
The only precaution: you may clean the horse’s mouth afterward, purely for aesthetic and comfort reasons.
Perception of Well-Being
The clay, rich in minerals, creates a pleasant sensation of freshness and relief that the horse perceives immediately.
This contributes to a moment of relaxation and comfort, making the application not only a treatment but also an act of care and connection.
“Argistrong is not just a technical treatment — it’s a true moment of well-being for the horse. With simple steps like tying the tail and letting the clay dry naturally, the application becomes easy, effective, and enjoyable for both.”
