Description
💚 Nourish, protect, regenerate: the secret to a flexible and resilient hoof
Horses that live or work on dry, sandy, or highly draining terrain are prone to progressive dehydration of the hoof wall. Continuous evaporation of moisture, combined with dust and sand, depletes the hoof’s natural lipid layer, making it hard, brittle, and prone to cracking. Over time, this can lead to: Loss of elasticity and the appearance of cracks or vertical fissures Hoof wall separation and difficulty in shoeing Altered gait due to pain or irregularities in the horn surface Slowed growth caused by insufficient oxygenation and nourishment of keratinized tissues The combination of nourishing lipids, protective waxes, regenerating extracts, and mineral clay creates an emollient and remineralizing complex that restores the hoof’s physiological balance, preventing dryness, brittleness, and cracking.

NOURISH. PROTECT. REGENERATE. – WELLNESS IN EVERY STEP

micronized clay.
Naturally fine-milled clay with high ion-exchange capacity and adsorption power. It purifies the hoof surface, absorbs impurities and excess moisture, and provides minerals (silica, magnesium, iron) essential for keratinization. It improves the mechanical consistency of the hoof horn and supports natural remineralization.

functional summary
The combination of nourishing lipids, protective waxes, regenerating extracts, and mineral clay creates an emollient, remineralizing complex that restores the hoof’s physiological balance, preventing dryness, brittleness, and cracking.

HOW TO USE
Clean the hoof thoroughly. Apply a small amount of ointment by hand or brush onto the hoof wall and sole. Repeat 2–3 times a week or as needed.
What does it contain?
Rendered Lard Treated at 130°C
Lard (purified animal fat) is rich in saturated and unsaturated fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, oleic). The heat treatment at 130°C removes impurities and microorganisms, improving stability and shelf life. Functionally, it creates a dense, protective lipid base that adheres well to the hoof wall, reducing water loss and softening dry horn. It also serves as a natural carrier for other liposoluble active ingredients (oils, vitamins, waxes).
Soybean Oil
A source of linoleic acid (omega-6), oleic acid, and lecithin. It nourishes the horn by supporting cohesion between keratinized cells, increasing flexibility and strength. Lecithin has an emulsifying and penetrating action, helping other oils diffuse into the inner layers of the hoof wall.
Shea Butter
Rich in unsaponifiable fractions (phytosterols, tocopherols, triterpenes) and vitamins A, E, and F. It provides an emollient, antioxidant, and regenerative effect on the keratin of the hoof horn. It restores the natural lipid barrier, preventing cracks and loss of elasticity caused by dehydration.
Beeswax
A blend of fatty acid esters and natural alcohols with film-forming and water-repellent properties. It creates a breathable barrier that protects the hoof from sand, dust, and external agents, while preventing moisture and bacteria from penetrating. Enhances shine and surface cohesion of the horn.
Olive Oil
Rich in oleic acid and antioxidant polyphenols. Softens the horn and supports lipid penetration into keratinized layers. Improves mechanical flexibility and reduces brittleness in dry or heat- and sand-stressed hooves.
Avocado Oil
Contains palmitoleic acid, phytosterols, and vitamins E and D. Penetrates deeply, regenerating damaged keratinized areas. Stimulates restructuring of the horny tissue and improves the hoof’s mechanical strength.
Calendula Extract
A natural source of flavonoids and triterpenes with anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Soothes irritation, micro-fissures, or redness around the coronet and periungual area. Supports cell regeneration and normal keratinization.
Lanolin
A natural wax rich in lanolin esters and alcohols. An excellent humectant and reparative agent: retains water within the horn matrix and restores elasticity. Contributes to structural cohesion and protects against environmental humidity fluctuations.
Essential Oils (Lavender and others)
Contain linalool, geraniol, beta-caryophyllene, and terpineol, providing antimicrobial, soothing, and deodorizing effects. Help maintain a hygienically stable environment around the hoof and add a pleasant natural scent.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
A powerful fat-soluble antioxidant that protects hoof lipids from oxidation and environmental damage. Improves formulation stability and supports cellular repair processes.
